Not content with simply being a multi-platinum, Grammy Awardwinning rock star, Bryan Adams took up photography and has enjoyed enviable success in this field as well.

The Canadian singer-songwriter excels at celebrity portraits, with his works gracing such glamorous glossies as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, i-D and Interview. He has also managed to make the jump from magazines to museums, and an exhibition of his photos can now be seen at the Multimedia Art Museum Moscow.

Women are beautiful and men have character in Adams’ lens. Victoria Beckham straddles a bicycle, showing off her impossibly long legs; a topless Pink flaunts nipple piercings and tattoos; Tommy Lee sports a double mohawk; and a besuited, bow-tied Dustin Hoffman sunbakes on a beach deckchair. There’s also a winsome Amy Winehouse, an ever-youthful Mick Jagger, and even a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

“We all knew Bryan Adams had a voice,” says a quote attributed by MAMM to Vanity Fair’s Ingrid Sischy. “Now that he has worn his other hat, as a photographer, we get to see his eye.”
